This page explains what DiscoverWS.com collects when you use it, who receives it, and which outside services help run the site. DiscoverWS.com is the Watersound Real Estate site for Watersound Camp Creek.
What the forms collect
When you send a request through a form on this site, we receive what you enter:
- Your name and email address, which are required
- Your phone number, if you give one
- What you are interested in and any message you write
- On a property page, the viewing date you choose
A request sent from a property page also carries that property's address, price, MLS number and page link, so the person replying knows which property you mean.
The Call and Text buttons open your phone's own apps. The site does not see those calls or messages.
Who receives your request
Your request is emailed to the Watersound Real Estate community specialists for Watersound Camp Creek so they can reply to you.
Your name, email address and phone number are also added to BoldTrail, the customer relationship management (CRM) system Watersound Real Estate uses to keep track of inquiries. Your message is not sent to the CRM from this site.
What is recorded automatically
To prevent spam and abuse, each form submission also records:
- Your IP address
- Your browser user-agent, which is the browser and device type your browser reports
- Your approximate location: the city, region and country estimated from your IP address
- The page the form was sent from and the time it was sent
These details are included in the email described above and are kept in the site's server logs. They are not added to the CRM.
Your location on the map
The Show My Location button asks your browser for permission to use your location. If you allow it, your position is used only inside your browser to place a dot on the community map. It is not sent to us and it is not stored.
Services that help run this site
- Netlify hosts the site and runs the form handler. It processes your IP address to deliver pages, produces the approximate location described above, and stores the server logs.
- Brevo is the email provider that delivers form requests.
- BoldTrail is the CRM described above.
- Google Fonts supplies typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which sees your IP address.
- Spark supplies the listing details and photos from the Emerald Coast Association of REALTORS® MLS. Listing photos load in your browser from Spark's image servers.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) supplies the script that lets you pan and zoom the community map. Your browser requests it from Cloudflare, which sees your IP address.
- YouTube plays the Watersound Club video on the map. It loads only if you open that video, and YouTube may set its own cookies when it does.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The YouTube video described above is the one exception, and only if you open it.
How long we keep your information
